Just so you know...

There is absolutely no rhyme or reason to my, er I mean "our' blog. When the mood hits me I write about something. I don't mean to offend anyone... certainly not my goal. I just want people to learn about us and get to know us better. We like comments, so feel free to post some!

30 Day Picture Challenge - Day ELEVEN

DAY ELEVEN - A picture of something you hate
That's right... praying mantis'. They really give me the heebie jebbies. Just seeing this picture really freaks me out. I'm pretty sure I'm going to have nightmares about praying mantis' coming to eat me.

30 Day Picture Challenge - Day TEN

DAY TEN - A picture of the person you do the most f****** up things with.

These days, I don't do many messed up things unless you want to call me acting like I'm riding a horse while singing "She''ll be Coming Around the Mountain" (when she comes YEEHAW!) with my daughter. I'm pretty much a homebody and I'm totally okay with it! Several years ago, not much of the same story. I certainly don't want to go into details, but let me just say the things you do with friends for friends. One word: SNOWMAN. That's what I think of when I think of Sarah. (Well I think of plenty other stuff too, but that's usually the first thought with a snicker or two afterward.)

30 Day Picture Challenge - Day NINE

DAY NINE - A picture of the person who has gotten you through the most.

So this is her... the girl I talked about on DAY TWO. She's a beautiful girl and it amazes me though all the difficulties in her own life, she always has a smile and a shoulder for others. She has changed so much over the last few years, but changed in a wonderful way! Did I mention that she is an AWESOME photographer? In my opinion (and many others I'm sure) she is THE BEST photographer in our hometown area. I'm so proud of you!

DAY EIGHT - A picture that makes you laugh.

Silly kids... I'm a tad behind on my days! I've been uber busy the last couple days!

30 Day Picture Challenge - Day SEVEN

DAY SEVEN - A picture of your most treasured item.

Wow, another hard one. Imma have to think a bit on this one!

After mucho thinking I've decided this is probably my most treasured item. Not necessarily the picture itself, but my armband. It's symbolizes so many things, endings, beginnings, happiness, and sadness. But mostly it's the only "concrete" thing I have our little JB.

30 Day Picture Challenge - Day SIX

DAY SIX - A picture of a person you'd love to trade places with for a day.

Well, I thought, thought, and thought some more on this one and it was hard. The fact is I don't want to trade places with anyone, but the only person I could even come close to thinking about was my husband. Only because I'm curious what he's really thinking when I go off on one of my rants. Or when we have a serious discussion and he has a difficult time talking. Especially when it comes to our angel baby. I just want to know what he is thinking. He's so quiet and doesn't talk about his feelings, but this inquiring mind wants to know! I'm also amazed at how he can always be in a good mood. His outlook on life inspires me and I always think, "Why can't I see things that way?"

(Oh and I LOVE this picture! I caught him between laughing and smiling... so it's a true smile and not one just for the camera! He is probably not going to like the fact that I posted it, but he'll forgive me!)

30 Day Picture Challenge - Day FIVE

DAY FIVE - A picture of your favorite memory
My favorite memory would have to be when I went to Alaska to visit Nick. We had only been dating for about 4 months and it kept running through my head that I was completely crazy going all the way there to see a guy I had only spent 2 weeks together in person and about 3 months of talking on the phone. Granted we knew each other in high school and he was a super sweet guy, but people do change.... I'm glad he didn't!! I had an absolute amazing time with him and all of his friends! We had never told each other we loved each other and being there with him was the first time I heard it. We loved each other like crazy and couldn't get enough of one another! I admit I kinda miss those days! Even so, just thinking about our time in AK together always puts a smile of my face!
