DAY FIFTEEN - A picture of something you want to do before you die.

Gosh there are tons of things I want to do before I die! How to narrow down to ONE thing! I guess though, I really want to go skydiving! I've always wanted to do it and I think if I had to pick only one thing that would be it.

30 Day Picture Challenge - Day FOURTEEN

DAY FOURTEEN - A picture of someone you could never imagine your life without.

Well I would never be able to choose just one person. I did really think about it and I decided that I can't imagine life without my two favorite people! They both mean the world to me and give meaning to life. Miss K can always make me smile and Nick is my biggest supporter! Because of him I was able to learn to live again after I was in a very unhealthy relationship and because of her I have been able to find strength I didn't know I had.

30 Day Picture Challenge - Day THIRTEEN

DAY THIRTEEN - A picture of your favorite band or artist.

 Thompson Square. Okay so this band I can't say is really an all time favorite, but it's a favorite right now. I love music of all kinds and all kinds of artists so it would be hard for me to choose only one as a fav. I picked Thompson Square because it was the first band that came to mind because of their song "Are You Gonna Kiss Me or Not?" Every time I hear it, it reminds me of my husband and I when we were first dating. We were both shy and really didn't know what to say/do to get to that first kiss.... I remember our conversation about whether or not we wanted to pursue a long distance relationship. As we were driving down a winding, hilly road I said, "So where is this going, what are we going to do? Are we gonna try this?" His response "I would really like to." And so it began....

It's official

I'm a terrible blogger.... I've had many things on my mind to blog about, but when it came down to it I just didn't FEEL like it. Anyhow, I'm going to try to get caught up on my 30 day challenge and maybe, just maybe I'll sneak a couple other topics that have been rambling around in my head!

Icing on the Cake?

A neighbor/friend of mine is having a baby shower coming up this weekend. This is only the second baby shower that I have been invited to since we lost our baby. The first one I didn't attend because it was entirely too far for me to go to. I am going to this one, but I have to admit I'm pretty nervous. I already know that being around the pregnancy talk makes me extremely uncomfortable. She does know about my situation, so I know she'll try to understand if I end up having to bolt out the door. I really wanted to do something special for her because of the fact I may need to leave unexpectedly. After talking with her momma on what kind of items she needs, I started brainstorming and researching and came up with all kinds of ideas. I loved the idea of doing a "diaper cake" so that's what my original plan was. Then as I was researching more cute gifts, I found a sock bouquet and I couldn't pass up trying to make that as well. SO I combined the two and I love the results! I finally finished my little project and I"m SO EXCITED. I think its cute and I can't wait to give it to her! She did her daughter's room in Ladybugs, so that's where I got my inspiration.

DAY ELEVEN - A picture of something you hate

 That's right... praying mantis'. They really give me the heebie jebbies. Just seeing this picture really freaks me out. I'm pretty sure I'm going to have nightmares about praying mantis' coming to eat me.
